2010 Luncheon Promises to Be a Big Success  

Do you remember the song that was the theme of your high school prom? What was the tune you danced to at your wedding? What is the melody that runs through your mind as you relax? Music leaves an everlasting impression on us and, consequently, helps us to retrieve good memories

"Magical Melodies" is the theme of the 21st Summer Luncheon sponsored by the Friends of the Ocean City Pops. The annual event is set for Thursday, August 19th, at Greate Bay Country Club in Somers Points. Door prizes, 50/50 raffle, gift baskets, and a silent auction will be part of the program. As always, Maestro William Scheible will treat us to delightful entertainment.

The Annual Friends of the Ocean City Pops Luncheon is a major fund-raising endeavor in support of the city's outstanding orchestra. The Friends are very grateful to the local businesses and organizations that contribute merchandise and gift certificates, and in doing so, make the luncheon a highlight of the summer season.

Tickets are $40 per person and will go on sale before Pops concerts and during intermission at the Music Pier beginning July 13th.
